POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a passionate and driven Quality Assurance Co-ordinator to join our team at Nestlé's Campbellfield factory (HOME OF THE KITKAT). As a Quality Assurance expert, your role will be supporting quality execution, quality investigation, and driving quality improvement. A DAY IN THE LIFE...
As the Quality Champion at the Campbellfield factory, you’ll co-ordinate the process to ensure our quality and regulatory requirements are met, by providing regular feedback and training.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, your role is to;

- Lead and coach the production and maintenance teams on;
- Quality improvement opportunities and quality standards using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) - including the requirements of PIC/s GMP for the medicines manufacturing processes.
- Quality Inspections - ensuring inspections are being completed correctly, and action exists to address gaps
- Ensure investigations are completed for all Quality Incidents such as Food Safety and Hygiene as well as product quality failures
- Be responsible for execution of Quality Compliance activities, including Release for Supply, and Hygiene & Pathogen Monitoring.
- Support competence build by ensuring Quality Skills Matrices exists for all key manufacturing roles; and work with the teams to support skills gap closure.
ARE YOU A FIT?
To be successful, you will need a proactive and positive attitude and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
- You will have a minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience as quality specialist or similar role
- Experience in the manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG industry.
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related field of study
- You have the demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment
- You have a strong attention to detail and an ability to work effectively to deliver high quality work
- You have excellent written and oral communication
- Basic SAP knowledge
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
