We are currently offering a newly opened mechanical fitter apprenticeship position within our expanding Hydraulic Hose breakdown company. Based out of Sunbury, we are ideally looking for someone new to the industry to join our expanding team.

This apprenticeship will be conducted over 4 years, with a contracted agreement that covers an additional 12 months pledge from the employee to continue full time work once the apprenticeship is complete. As an addition, the applicant will also achieve Cert 2 in Hydraulics as well as a fully paid white card course.

The position is offered at award rates, however the successful applicant will need to be flexible regarding loose daily start and finish times, usually Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm. Potential daily overtime will be paid outside of the regular working week and further frequent overtime opportunities exist for willing and keen applicants looking to earn extra money.

The successful applicant is expected to have a good level of physical fitness and an understanding that the job entails (but not exclusive to) travelling to worksites throughout the Western & Northern suburbs to remove and replace faulty hydraulic components from a wide variety of machines.

Our operators work in all weather conditions and as part of our team you would be expected to perform the same tasks alongside the employer. The applicant is required to be minimum 18yrs+, and possess a valid, current Victorian manual drivers license.
