Primary Location Echuca, VIC Job Description Summary Comdain continues to grow its portfolio of utility clients within Victoria. With this growth comes the opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our Regional team in Echuca. This position will also allow to work from our Epping office. About the Role Comdain Infrastructure delivers end-to-end engineering and asset management services to leading utility and energy providers across Australia. Comdain continues to grow its portfolio of utility clients within Victoria. With this growth comes the opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our Regional team in Echuca. This position will also allow to work from our Epping office. As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following;

• Reviewing tender specifications and drawings to determine material and resource requirements;
• Computing costs and preparing estimates for tender submission;
• Consulting with clients, vendors, designers and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues;
• Analysing completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs;
• Interfacing with stakeholders within Comdain to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates;
• Communicating project information to delivery team;
• Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures;
• Developing innovative material inputs and construction methods to reduce cost.
• Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.
• Preparing construction methodologies and project schedules for tender submissions.

What do you do bring? This opportunity is ideally suited to as an Estimator on water/sewer capital projects, ideally with some exposure to project delivery in a site role.

• Bachelor level degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Post graduate studies in Project Management and/or Business Management
• Prior exposure to the water industry
• Ability to travel to Echuca
