Professional Offset Lithographic Printer About Us We are a growing cardboard carton manufacturing business based in Campbellfield Victoria with a newly created Lithographic Laminator Machine Operator position available. We supply to both local and interstate companies with various cardboard products. About the Job The job will include but not be limited by the following tasks and duties that may be delegated from time to time: Examine job order to determine quantity to be printed, stock specifications, colors, and special printing instructions. Complete scheduled work as directed by supervisor by using the Production Order form for instructions. Enter required job information onto the Production Order Form. Install and lock plate into position, using hand tools, to achieve pressure required for printing. Load Paper Rolls into the machine. Load printed sheets Position and register Paper Rolls. Measure paper thickness and adjust space between blanket and impression cylinders according to thickness of paper stock Measure plate thickness and insert packing sheets on plate cylinder to build up plate to printing height. Maintain glue level in tank Constantly check carton quality, position and lamination are within tolerance. Fill ink and dampening solution fountains, and adjust controls to regulate flow of ink and dampening solution to plate cylinder. Carry out periodic maintenance on machine such as lubrication and machine cleanliness. Report any machine discrepancies or safety issues to supervisor.
