Amiga Engineering is a family owned Australian company established in 1988. It is the top 3 in Victoria for the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame. It is the only one of it's kind in Australia providing Metal 3d printing, CNC Machining, indutrial gearboxes, 3d printing equipment sales and Polymer 3d printing.

The new role available is for a Sales Manager/BDM for the Polymer 3d printing side of the business. 

The Role

The organization requires the services of an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales, distribution and customer development of 3D printing in Polymer and Nylon. The job will entail the employee to quote customers using the company quoting system, convert the orders, and see the order through to the end for the customer; as well as upselling and marketing the Polymer 3d printing service and developing new clientele. In this role you will be reporting to the Managing Director and working with other Sales and production staff.

Skills and Experience:

• Must have proven experience with 3D Polymer and other plastic printing
• Must have strategy for meeting sales performance and growth targets
• Focus on increasing sales in the 3D Polymer printing business line.
• Pro-actively advising and introducing new solutions to meet client business requirements resulting in increased company sales.
• Maintain open and strong communication with the operational side of the business.
• Regularly evaluate systems and processes to ensure that maximum efficiency is achieved.
• Ability to establish sales to new customers in a "hands on" direct contact role and also to increase sales to existing customers.
• Sales management and business development skills and experience in the polymer additive manufacturing field.
• Rapport and relationship building at the commercial level.
• Ability to communicate, present and negotiate at all levels; effective stakeholder engagement and highly developed influencing capability, Innovation and creativity.

Requirements

• Must have experience with 3d Polymer Printing
• CAD design skills would be beneficial, from basic design and analysis, you will need to perform print-ability reviews through magics or a 3d Systems proprietary software and have good spacial awareness and design instincts.
• Solid-works or other CAD design knowledge would be an asset.
• 5-10 years sales / business development experience in 3D Printing Sales and distribution, engineering, production and machining Tertiary Studies in Sales and Marketing well regarded.
• Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business
• Proven track record of increasing revenue through personal generation of leads
• Demonstrated ability to engage with corporate clients
• Prior experience in the industry's related to or involving machining, toolmaking, manufacturing production and engineering desirable.
• Technically apt at talking to designers and engineers at their level a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
